NNNN Devor 16

Premium Infra-Bass Subwoofer

Horn loading

The horn loading provides high sensitivity, good impulse response, and low distortion level down to 16Hz. Devor 16 combines a physical, large format loudspeaker sound quality with a frequency response that extends into the realm of infrasound.

Sub cardioid dispersion

The Devor 16 has a close to sub cardioid dispersion pattern all through its bandwidth – even at infrabass frequencies. This allows the sound pressure to be directed towards the audience, and reduces the need for acoustical treatment of the room, as less energy is reflected off surrounding surfaces.

Mechanical force cancellation

The Devor 16 is designed with dual 21’’ drivers, working mechanically in a push push configuration to feed the horn. This cancels out the movement exercised on the cabinet by each driver and minimizes distortion from the cabinet. This also contributes to the audience perceiving the bass signal through the air, along with rest of the music instead of out of time through the floor/ground.

High SPL to infrasound

Devor 16 is appropriate for a broad range of applications. From large outdoor applications to concert halls, clubs, cinemas, and theaters. It can be used as a bass effect generator to replicate thunderstorms and earthquakes and war simulation in military training. For very high-end applications, like bass extension in studio, HiFi, and home cinema setups, the Devor 16 provides an experience out of the ordinary.
